The Church Council has called for a special meeting of the congregation on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to take a first vote on whether or not to end our affiliation with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and instead to affiliate with either Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) or the North American Lutheran Church (NALC).

This is a significant decision and one that should not be made without each voting member spending some time in study, dialog, and prayer. Below you will find some information and resources that our members can use to learn more about the various issues at hand. (The dates in parentheses indicate when this item was posted.)

If you have any suggestions of things that could be added to this list, please send an email to: churchcouncil@alcfdl.org.
